Meet Dr. Poonam Sekhon
Pediatric Specialist DDS, MSc. FRCD (C)Dr. Poonam Sekhon has always enjoyed providing quality care to the youngest children in the funniest way possible. Dr. Poonam understands that dental procedures can be overwhelming and scary to children of any age. She strives to alleviate these fears and create a more positive dental experience.
Dr. Poonam completed both her Bachelor of Science and dental school training at the University of Western, Ontario. Afterwards she was employed as a dental resident at SickKids hospital downtown Toronto. Dr. Poonam completed her pediatric dental specialty training at the University of Toronto where she also received a Master’s in pediatric dentistry. She is a board-certified pediatric specialist and a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Ontario Dental Association, American Association of Pediatric Dentists, and Canadian Association of Pediatric Dentists.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Poonam enjoys spending time with her family and traveling the world. When Dr. Poonam is not busy with her two boys she also enjoys photography and fashion.
Meet Dr. Noah Turk
Pediatric Dentist DMD, MS, FRCD (C)Pediatric dentist Dr. Noah Turk (FRCD (C)) cares about nothing more than great dental health for your child, and their happiness in his chair. More than just technical know-how and skill, as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Noah’s care encompasses a level of child-centric understanding, empathy and genuine care designed to foster a commitment to caring for their own teeth. He has been in the pediatric dental field for years, and has shared his philosophy and skills in dental clinics throughout Southern Ontario.

Meet Dr. Gideon Turk
Pediatric Dentist DMDOriginally from Toronto, Dr. Gideon is returning to Canada after completing 10 years of post-secondary education in the United States. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with Honors in Community Oral Health. During his time in Philadelphia, he conducted research on using tele-dentistry to improve access to care in underserved areas. Following this, Dr. Gideon completed a two-year post-graduate residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at New York University and Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan.
At NYU, Dr. Gideon received advanced training at their world-renowned Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities, gaining extensive weekly clinical and didactic experience in behavior guidance and treating patients with special health care needs. Concurrently, he conducted research aimed at improving relationships between Pediatric Dental specialists and a minority health group in New York.
Before fully dedicating himself to pediatric dentistry, Dr. Gideon spent a decade writing about and covering the Toronto Blue Jays for outlets such as ESPN and Baseball Prospectus. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, baking, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, toddler daughter, and their eight-year-old Supermutt named Spunky.
Meet Natalie Ford, RPN, IBCLC
Registered Practical Nurse & International Board Certified Lactation ConsultantNatalie is a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with over 25 years of nursing experience and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). For more than two decades, she has dedicated her career to caring for women, newborns and families through hospital programs, obstetrical offices and outpatient clinics.
Natalie’s approach to lactation care is evidence-based, compassionate and individualized. She understands that every family, baby and feeding journey is different. Her goal is to provide parents with the knowledge, support and confidence they need to make informed decisions that work best for their family—whether that means breastfeeding, chest-feeding, pumping, combination feeding or breastmilk feeding.
With a strong background in maternal and newborn health, Natalie provides impartial, supportive care without judgment, helping families navigate common feeding challenges and feel confident throughout their journey.
