At Woodlawn Kids Dental we offer children’s sleep dentistry services for young children, youth and teens right here in our clinic.

- Why might my child need sleep dentistry? When done in the dentist’s chair, some procedures can be stressful for children particularly. With our ‘happy visits’ approach, this is something we try to avoid at every turn. We may present full sleep dentistry as a treatment option if your child:
- Requires complex, multiple, lengthy or particularly noisy procedures;
- Has significant anxiety about the surgery specifically or visiting the dentist generally;
- Is very young;
- Has special needs or finds it difficult to sit still;
- Has a strong gag reflex.
- Is sleep dentistry safe?
- Our pediatric dental staff carefully monitor your child’s vitals (blood oxygen level, blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate) throughout, and post-op up until full recovery.
